Learn the techniques you need to communicate with your camera and how to take strong, effective photographs in this beginner course on color and black- and-white photography. Different cameras (traditional and digital) will be addressed, and several practical demonstrations will be given in the classroom. Technical considerations will share equal time with explorations of photographic aesthetics. Bring your digital or film camera (with no film in it) to every class. Material costs will vary based on your work and projects and whether you are using a film or digital camera. Section 01 is designed specifically for cameras with manual capabilities and concentrates on color photography. Limited to 15.
